Get to know me

My journey into colour began with design. With a First-Class Honours bachelor’s degree and a master’s in Interior Design from Technological University Dublin, I developed a solid foundation in how space, light, and material work together. Over time, however, I found myself increasingly fascinated by the transformative power of colour.

As a Colour Consultant at Cove & Co, I specialise in helping clients select the right shades, tones, and finishes to bring their spaces to life. My role blends creativity with technical expertise, from understanding colour psychology to advising on product finishes.

Whether you’re starting fresh or refining an existing look, I’m here to guide you through the process with a trained eye and practical insights, ensuring every colour choice is confident and purposeful.

Personal Project

Wonder

Wonder is my personal exploration into how design can evoke profound emotional responses, making spaces not just functional but meaningful. This project explored how the idea of wonder can be intentionally designed into domestic interiors to create richer, more emotionally resonant living spaces. Rooted in human-centred design, it presents a toolkit that helps designers treat wonder not as a by-product, but as a core material, just like texture, colour, or light. By activating the senses through elements like movement, sound, and light, the project invites occupants to feel more connected, and alive in their surroundings. It ultimately asks: what if homes could inspire curiosity, joy, and a deeper sense of presence?

Mussel by Colourtrend is a rich, true navy that works beautifully on woodwork especially kitchen presses. It’s bold yet warm, instantly refreshing a space without feeling cold or overpowering. What I love most is how effortlessly it complements natural wood tones, creating a timeless and layered look.

Nether Red by Little Greene, is a luxurious blend of red and brown that adds grounding warmth to interiors. It feels cocooning, ideal for creating a restful, intimate atmosphere. I find it works beautifully in both traditional and modern settings. Paired with Mushroom 142, it brings a cosy, sophisticated balance to any bedroom.

Breakfast Room Green by Farrow & Ball is, to me, the happiest of greens. It’s especially lovely on front doors, where it complements surrounding greenery effortlessly. Its fresh, uplifting tone makes it feel alive in all lighting conditions.

Cherry Truffle is a deep, transformative shade that brings drama and richness to any space. Dulux Heritage is known for its vintage-inspired palette, and this bitter chocolate brown with just a touch of red adds decadent warmth. It’s perfect for rooms with tall ceilings and plenty of light.
